Terms of Service
Last updated 24 September 2026
These terms apply when you use Gus, operated by Inova AI Solutions Pty Ltd. By creating an account or signing in, you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information.
1. Service areas
- Builders throughout Australia may create an account. Your postcode and selected service areas help Gus configure local features; they do not reserve a suburb or postcode for you.
- Other builders may use Gus in the same areas. Gus does not guarantee exclusive territory or a particular number of enquiries.
- One account per business and per email address. Registering on behalf of another business, or listing areas you do not service, is not allowed.
- Service areas can overlap between businesses. Any advertising audience requires your separate approval before a campaign is launched.
2. The free Numbers tier
- The Numbers tier is free, needs no card, and does not expire.
- It is for your own business’s use at reasonable volumes. Please don’t resell access, automate it beyond normal use, or use it to send messages homeowners haven’t asked for.
- We may limit or suspend use that harms the service or other builders, and will tell you why where we can.
3. Paid plans
- Paid plans are billed monthly in Australian dollars through Stripe.
- Your plan changes once Stripe confirms payment. You can change or cancel at any time from the billing page; cancelling moves you to the free Numbers tier at the end of the period.
- You can ask for an export of your records at any time, on any plan.
4. Automated replies, estimates and response times
- Gus replies to homeowners automatically on your behalf and proposes site visits, quotes and invoices for you to approve. You remain responsible for your prices, quotes, contracts, licences and the work itself.
- Estimates, margins and figures Gus shows are calculations from the information available to it. They are indicative, not a quote or a guarantee, and not tax, BAS or legal advice.
- We do not guarantee how quickly homeowners are answered, how many enquiries you receive, or that any enquiry becomes a job. Messages depend on third-party services such as WhatsApp and may be delayed.
- You can take over any conversation at any time, and Gus stops replying in that conversation until you hand it back.
5. Your responsibilities
- Keep your licence, ABN and contact details in your brand kit accurate and current.
- Use Gus lawfully, including Australian consumer, privacy and spam laws.
- Keep your sign-in secure and tell us if you think your account has been misused.
6. Connected services
Gus connects to services such as Xero, WhatsApp, Facebook and Instagram. Your use of those services is also governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for their outages or changes.
7. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost jobs or profits, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim.
8. Changes and ending the service
We may update these terms and will tell you about significant changes before they apply. You can stop using Gus at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms. These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales.
